Ballpark A-Z Guide

  • ADA Seating is available through our General Admission seating tickets. We have clearly marked ADA seating areas. Anyone needing ADA seating can purchase a General Admissions ticket to go in the ADA sections for themself and a guest.

    For the guest or anyone who needs a folding chair, please ask anyone in a Drifters’ staff shirt and we can provide one for you.

  • Banners & Signs are permitted in the stadium as long as they do not obstruct the view of guests or block stadium signage.

    Banners & Signs must not be attached to any posts, rods or hardware, be event related, in good taste, and not commercial, political, or offensive in nature.

    The Springfield Drifters Baseball Club reserve the right to remove any sign for any reason.

  • No bottles, cans, or outside beverages are permitted inside our stadium. Exceptions are made for empty water bottles, baby bottles, and health-related materials.

  • Children 12 and under can receive a General Admission ticket for free when accompanying a paid adult. The child may not sit in a reserved seat with a General Admission ticket. Per our Ticket Upgrade policy, kids general admission tickets can be upgraded to a reserved ticket by paying the difference in price.

    Children 2 & under may sit on the lap of a parent/guardian in a reserved seat without a reserved ticket.

    Our mission is to create a family atmosphere and we do ask for our parents to supervise and be with their children at all times. Unsupervised children will be returned to their parents.

    There is no running allowed in our ballpark and we ask our parents to ensure their children do not run.

  • Spectator gates will open one hour prior to the posted game start time.

  • No outside food or beverages may be brought into Hamlin Sports Complex for any games or events. If you have a dietary exception, please email [email protected].

    Empty water bottles may be brought in the stadium and refilled.

  • Parking is free for all Drifters home games at Hamlin Sports Complex. Fans can park in any of the available spots on campus at Hamlin Middle School. Parking is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

    When parking at Hamlin Middle School fills up, backflow parking will be available at Springfield High School (875 7th Street).

  • Every bag that enters Drifters stadium may be searched at bag check. This includes small purses, backpacks, diaper bags, strollers, and any other form of bag. Bag check is meant to prevent any outside food or beverages, alcohol, weapons, or other prohibited items from entering the stadium.

    Prohibited items are:

    • Any alcohol not purchased at Drifters concessions

    • Any kind of vape pen or e-cigarette

    • Illegal Drugs

    • Weapons of any kind

    • Laser Pointers

    • Air Horns or any kind of noise maker that disrupts play on the field or fan experience

  • The Springfield Drifters allow re-entry into the stadium. Our guests are required to have a hand stamp for re-entry, which allows them to re-enter through the main entrance. You must be 15 years old or older to leave the stadium without an adult. Any children who want foul balls must have an adult with them the entire time.

  • Smoking and tobacco use is not permitted inside or on Hamlin Middle School campus, including Drifters Stadium. No marijuana is allowed either. Vape pens or e-cigarettes are not allowed.

  • Strollers are allowed in the ballpark as long as they can be stored under a seat and as long as they do not obstruct the walkways, or other fans’ seating.

  • Fans may upgrade to a reserved or box seat at any Drifters home game where seating is available by paying the difference in price from your original ticket.

    Ticket upgrades must be done at the Ticket Box Office at Hamlin Sports Complex prior to entering the stadium or by emailing [email protected] at least 48 hours before your ticketed game.

  • Umbrellas are permitted in the stadium, provided they do not interfere with other guests’ enjoyment of the event.

  • Hamlin Sports Complex has two drinking fountains located near the permanent restrooms on the concourse.

  • There are no weapons allowed inside or on Hamlin Middle School campus, including Hamlin Sports Complex. Weapons include, but are not limited to, guns, knives, mace, pepper spray, etc.

    If any weapons are found at bag check or in the stadium, you will be asked to take your weapon to your car.

    If you refuse to remove your weapon from the stadium, you will be asked to leave and you may be prevented from attending future games.

  • Hamlin Sports Complex, the Drifters and its employees are committed to providing our guests with an enjoyable, safe atmosphere. Our staff will proactively intervene to support a family-oriented environment where all guests can enjoy the baseball experience. The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in ejection from the ballpark:

    • Foul or abusive language or gestures

    • Intoxication or other signs of impairment

    • Displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting

    • Obscene or indecent clothing

    • Any disruption to the progress of the game by guest’s actions or unauthorized persons on the playing field

    • Guests seated in a location other than their ticketed seat or area

    • Smoking or tobacco use inside the or on Hamlin Middle School Campus, including Drifters Stadium

    • Any use of marijuana

    • Any vape pen or e-cigarette use

    • Any food brought in from outside the stadium

    • Any other behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with a family-friendly environment, as determined by the Drifters
