• Fourth member of his family to sign with a D1 baseball school,  

  • Oldest brother K.J. was a starter at Oregon State from 2014-17 

    • 2017 3rd round draft pick  by the Brewers 

    • Played 6 seasons of minor league base all with the Brewers and Nationals 

    • Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2015 

    • Played in the WCL for the Corvallis Knights in 2015 

  • His second brother, Kalae, played at Texas A&M and North Carolina State  

    • 2023 18th round draft pick by the Pirates 

    • Played three years of minor league baseball with the Pirates 

  • Third, Kaikea, will be a senior at Tulane.  

    • Started his career at USC before transferring to Tulane in 2025 

    • Played in the WCL for the Walla Walla Sweets in 2022 and the Bellingham Bells in 2024 

    • He went 2-10 against the Drifters in 2022 

  • Their father, Kenny, was a standout at Hawai'i from 1991-93
