Austin Gilbert to Perform at Drifters Country Night

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Drifters are thrilled to announce that for the first time ever, the Drifters will host a post-game concert at Hamlin Sports Complex. Following the Drifters Country Night game on Friday, July 24th, Springfield native and country music star Austin Gilbert will perform a set full of country tunes that will transform Hamlin Sports Complex into a honky-tonk for the night. Gilbert, a US Army veteran, was a contestant on the 28th season of NBC’s “The Voice” and is set to perform at Hamlin Sports Complex just five days before the release of his first album on July 29th.

First pitch for Friday’s game against the Marion Berries has been moved to 5:05 p.m., with the concert beginning 30-60 minutes after the game's conclusion on the turf field at Hamlin Sports Complex. During the evening, Bicoastal Media will be giving away two tickets to Zach Bryan’s concert at Autzen Stadium that is happening on July 25th. Tickets are available online at DriftersBaseball.com
