2026: (UC-Davis) 

• Played in 48 games with 42 starts across the infield and outfield in his sophomore season… 

• Hit .193 with 28 hits, seven doubles and two home runs over 145 at-bats...  

• Drove in 16 runs and scored 26 while drawing a team-leading 28 walks and getting hit by a pitch a team-high 15 times, ranking 143rd nationally and eighth in the Big West...  

• Laid down a team-high six sacrifice bunts, 143rd nationally and sixth in the conference...  

• Posted a .382 on-base percentage despite the modest batting average...  

• Worked a seven-game hit streak and a seven-game on-base streak during the season

• Hit a home run as part of a 3-for-6, one-RBI day in a 5-4 win over Nevada (Feb. 27) 

• Recorded 41 putouts, 22 assists and one double play for a .955 fielding percentage. 

2025 (UC-Davis)

• Started 22 of 32 games played 

• Had 15 hits in 79 at-bats for a .190 average 

• Finished with 6 doubles, 1 triple for a .291 slugging percentage 

• Drove in 14 runs 

• Walked 8 times and was hit by a pitch 6 times for a .312 on-base percentage 

ORLAND HS: 

• 3-year varsity athlete in baseball and basketball 

• 1st Team All-League in both sports 

• Basketball League MVP. 

• First Orland baseball player since 2015 to sign at the four-year level

• Grandfather Bill Story played basketball at UC Davis.
